While you're putting so little effort in learning how to enter a trance state... you'd probably like to know what it's useful for. Being able to go from normal to trance (even a light one) in one step can break most suggestions that might find a grip on your mind.
That could happen at any time. You may sit down to tighten shoelaces and realize your awareness is being directed inward or away:
- Inward might be a suggestion posing a question while triggering an unconscious response in a 1 = YES, 2 = NO format.
- Away might be distracting you while another suggestion triggers a memory leading to something spoken out loud.
At the moment you become aware something's off... at the first shift in awareness that gives away something on the edge or outside your perception... go into a trance and break it.
Where you live may not be the kind of place this happens. Good for you.
Better to have the option when needed then get stuck in a series of reinforcing suggestions that run for hours.
