A Key

This key's in the form of instructions to a shortcut.

It's also a key for unlocking all doors.  If you think that sounds cryptic you're not wrong but it should make sense at some point.

Following these instructions can result in 2 outcomes:

  1. No noticeable effect - you're mind is more whole than dissociated.
  2. A noticeable effect - you're conscious mind can address your unconscious as though it was separate.
Don't worry what that means... yet.
You'll probably get bored and stop reading here long before it's important.  👌

Instructions to Hide Something From Your Own Awareness

  1. Select some item you own (don't take someone else's belongings) that can fit in a box with a lid or even your own pocket (never a trash can):
    • Pack of cigarettes works great if you smoke.
    • Keys to your car or home.
    • Chapstick or lipstick
  2. Prepare at least 3 suggestions to tell yourself NOT to remember what the item is once placed in a box or whatever you're using.  Oh you'll need a box with a lid if you don't have pockets.  Examples:
    • "Hide the box contents from my awareness."
    • "Hide the memory of what's in the box from my awareness."
    • "Let me forget the box contents until tomorrow."
    • "I won't remember what's in the box."
  3. Place the item in the box or whatever you're using.
  4. Now say to yourself the suggestions you've prepared.  Repeat them more than once if you want.  What's absolutely key to this working is that you:
    • Consciously focus your unconscious attention on what you're suggesting.
    • You're trying to directly suggest your own unconscious as though it was separate from your mind.
    • Normally this can't be done.  Your conscious and unconscious are combined as a whole mind and can't be individually singled out.
  5. Wait a few seconds or even a minute before trying to recall what the item is that was placed in the box (or whatever you're using).
  6. Did you feel any resistance in your thoughts as you tried to remember it?
    • Could be a slight hesitation before you recalled the memory
    • Could feel like being pushed back as you moved towards where the memory should be in your mind.
    • It can be an almost imperceptible and easy to overlook.
Now you might (or might not) know a little more about your own mind.
If you perceived some effect then the next step involves trance.
